STING RAY Ambassador

Launching Soon...

Stingrays have flat, disk-shaped bodies which are well-adapted for life on the sea floor. Their eyes are located on the top of their head, while their mouth, gills, and nostrils are on the underside.

Like sharks, stingrays have electroreceptors called ampullae of Lorenzini. These allow them to sense the electric fields produced by other animals, which helps them locate prey hidden in the sand.
